I specialize in Biomechanical Restructuring, Structural Massage Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Myofascial Release. I'm also always continuing my education to further my excitement in healing the body.
My approach is a combination of different techniques and practices. I blend them together to create a unique and well crafted massage.
MASSAGES
Every massage I give is custom tailored to your needs and individual body structure. Depending on your body needs, I will use a combination of different tools and techniques. Some of the therapies I find most beneficial include deep tissue massage targeting areas of imbalance using structural massage techniques. As well as, combining myofascial release, gua sha, and cupping therapy. You can learn more about these methods below.
STRUCTURAL MASSAGE WITH MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Structural massage therapy targets areas of misalignment and imbalance in the musculoskeletal and myofascial systems to alleviate the source of pain in the body. Structural massage involves looking at range of movement and examining any restrictions in the body. Myofascial release compliments these techniques through sustained pressure within the bound connective tissue.
GUA SHA
Gua sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping your skin with stainless steel massage tools. This encourages blood to rise to the surface of the skin to promote tissue healing and improve circulation. Gua sha tools are also helpful in breaking down scar tissue and adhesions.
CUPPING
Cupping therapy is a traditional modality used to break up tissue adhesions, release stagnation and promote blood flow. Cupping is also known to relax the nervous system giving the body a chance heal and reset. During a session, cups will be placed on the affected areas to pull the skin into suction.
